  • I ve had a lot of ups and downs with this series, so each time I approach reading one of these books, it is always with a mixture of trepidation and excitement Sadly, this one landed on the I was right to be cautious side of things.I didn t really see a lot of romance happening between Finn and Rosemary, as it seemed like they were apart than together When they were together, there was always some mention of Rachel between them, or the two of them wound up arguing with each other I didn t see [...]

  • I really liked this one I have a soft spot for North Dakota and was excited to read a story that takes place there The premise was really interesting too Rosemary has traveled to Wildrose to visit her identical twin sister Rachel When she arrives she finds that her sister has passed leaving a grieving husband and newborn baby Rosemary had always cared for Finn and wants to be a part of the baby s life, help him care for little Sarah since her sister no longer can Finn at first resents Rosemary b [...]

  • 2.5 stars Contains vague spoiler A little romance with a twist if your identical twin s widower asks to marry you, how can you be sure it s really you he always wants to be with The characters were interesting, believable, and I enjoyed their story The whole thing was pretty good until towards the end we are not shown the personal conflict resolution, but are simply told that it was resolved I felt that the author wimped out on this very important point and I felt cheated when I had hung in ther [...]

  • This was a very good book Although I at times got frustrated with Finn, I found both he and Rosemary very enjoyable I disagree with some of the other reviews that said the ending felt rushed It didn t feel rushed to me, but I was somewhat disappointed that the word love was not used although, it could be argued that it was than implied, especially in the epilogue.

  • Great story I loved Finn Rosemary s story very sweet and romantic with sides of humor especially when it came to the dog, Cooper , sadness my heart broke for Finn, Rosemary and Sarah while reading the story and suspense Can t wait to read from Tracey and from the Love Finds You series

  • I was able to sit and read this book in one sitting I also Love that I can allow my daughter to also be able to read this book.

  • I purchased this book when it was on sale This was a page turner from the get go and I even had to sneak a few peeks during work hours. The period piece had really memorable characters The main character, Rose, was no wallflower, and I loved her strong spirit, even if her words got her into trouble sometimes Even the minor characters were given a personality that made you care for them Some of the bad guys and their actions weren t completely black and white, which was refreshing for a change. As [...]

  • Great story.I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it for others to read I love the time period, the location and story line and all the This story made me smile, caused me to laugh out loud at times shed and a few tears I really loved the depth of so many of the characters Rosemary, Finn, Agnes and Dottie each made me feel like I could have been their close friend I loved the way it brought me into the story I will definitely recommend this author and will purchase of her books

  • This is a quick and easy read Rose is coming to North Dakota to live with her identical twin sister,Rachel, and Rachel s husband, Finn Rose finds that her sister died shortly after childbirth and Finn is trying to raise the baby girl alone Rose is a very strong character who is assertive and aggressive in her dealings with everyone she meets Finn was in love with Rachel who was a very quiet and compliant woman The difference in personality and identical look create ambivalent feelings on both si [...]

  • The book was interesting It took me a few chapters to get into it but in the end it was a very good story Rosemary Jackson has traveled all the way to the frozen tundra of North Dakota territory to visit her twin sister, Rachel It s been three long years since Rachel left Kansas with her new husband for this wild place But Rosemary arrives to find only a grave, a grieving brother in law, and an underfed baby She has not choice but to stay and see er sister s family through the long winter Finn T [...]

  • I don t often give than 3 stars on a book because generally I just enjoy the book, would recommend it, but don t than like it I than liked this one Good story, good characters, had a few turns in it I didn t see coming Sure it was your typcal settling of the west romance where there is a tragedy and a marriage of convenience that turns to love, but this one had a different angle on it I won t talk about the story line as that s what most of these reviews do and how many different ways can you [...]

  • This started off fine but then just went downhill as the story continued Rosemary became a complete Mary Sue Also, the love between her and Finn seemed a little rushed at the end They get married because of some legal issues over the land Rosemary brought but I never felt like the issues between them were resolved before or after the marriage Rosemary didn t want to marry Finn because she did not want to be a replacement for her dead sister and we are told that Finn doesn t think of Rosemary in [...]

  • Rosemary Jackson has traveled all the way to the frozen tundra of North Dakota territory to visit her twin sister, Rachel It s been three long years since Rachel left Kansas with her new husband for this wild place But after months of anticipation, Rosemary arrives to find only a grave, a grieving brother in law, and an underfed baby She has no choice but to stay and see the child through the long winter Finn Tate has just buried his beloved wife, and he cannot seem to take care of himself, his [...]

  • This was definitely a good book, but it was a little weird for me, with the romance being between the widower Finn, and his recently deceased wife s identical twin, Rosemary I couldn t help but identify with Rosemary s feelings of being second best , or that Finn would always see her as her sister, Rachel I thought the author did a good job of addressing these concerns through the thoughts and actions of the characters I found it strange that the other people in the book didn t think anything of [...]

  • Enjoyed this story by a great Historical writer, Tracey Bateman I have read and enjoyed many of her stories This one finds us in North Dakota where Rosemary arrives at her sisters home expecting to live with her family only to find that her sister passed away several months before She has nowhere to go and her brother in law Finn has no interest in her staying arounduntil she moves down the road from him and being her independent self shows him that she is just what he needs to help him raise hi [...]

  • I really enjoyed this book It s a simple historical romance set in the early days of North Dakota statehood where people are working their claims and building homesteads amidst the challenges of winter storms, isolation, and medical and spiritual help that can be difficult to find over long distances The story surrounds a young woman who is moving to Wildrose to live with her twin sister and her husband after their father passes away When she gets there, she discovers that her sister has died in [...]

  • As I have stated in other reviews, I love marriage of convenience stories so my expectations were high for this one Although as I read it, I found that it really isn t a story of a marriage of convenience but of two people who are considering entering into one Rosemary was a strong leading lady and Finn was a grieving widower left to take care of his newborn daughter It kept me reading to the end and hoping for the big resolution between them Unfortunately I was disappointed The issues between F [...]

  • I am a fan of the Love Finds You series This book was no exception I enjoyed this light historical romance novel and as always, I enjoyed learning about this geographical region I especially enjoyed learning about this area during the 1800 s As an example, I had never heard of baby feeders , which were clearly the older version of today s baby bottles. My grandmother was born in tiny Wildrose, Wisconsin, and I remember visiting her family there in the late 1950 s Our relatives actually till had [...]

  • Read on Tiffany s Kindle some history to this book There is a real town in Wildrose, North Dakota Enjoyed reading about the twin aspect how I would feel if my twin would have been a sister instead of the brother I have Like books dealing with the wild frontier glad I didn t live during that timeframe though to hard I like my modern conveniences, i.e HEAT since it is turing cold now When I have time, would like to read other books about other towns There is one listed from Valentine, Nebraska or [...]

  • This book wasn t my favorite of the Love Finds You series, but it wasn t bad The character development was very good, and the story was interestingfunny at times, and made me cry a couple of times because it was so touching at times What a hard life homesteaders hadwe take so much for grantedjust basic needswhen you imagine what these pioneers went through.Worth the read if you have enjoyed the series.

  • Evidently, there are a whole series of Love Finds You books, although written by many authors The publisher has said they want to base a book in each state of the union This is a historical romance based in the late 1800s in Wildrose, N.D The story of a sister who travels to ND to stay with her married twin following the death of her father, tells of a woman who finds sorrow, independence, adventure and love A quick read that is totally enjoyable.

  • Rosemary Jackson traveled to the tundra of North Dakota territory to visit her twin sister, Rachel who left three years ago for Kansas Rosemary finds a grave, a grieving brother in law, and an underfed baby She has to stay and see the child through the long winter Rosemary comes to love Finn, but she knows he will never return her love It is an enthralling story of love and life on the plains.

  • Very good bookThe author did a great at job bringing the characters to life and making you feel like you were right there This story had a lot of twists and turns sad and happy times but a very good read As always I want to thank the author for not including any sexual content, it s safe for anyone to read.

  • I read this because it came up as a free Kindle download on and because I was scheduled to read another Love Finds You book for a blog tour coming up soon It was surprisingly satisfying, given the potential for being formulaic and superficial I enjoyed the characters and thought the plot had enough depth to move it beyond a series romance type of book.

  • Quick read, the plot kept me interested the whole time but was a little predictable and repetitive The characters are very likeable and hard not to fall in love with them Was hoping for a bit detail in terms of history All in all good historical fiction piece I would recommend

  • I absolutely LOVED this book The latest review posted to my blog was a 5 review of this book You can read it here bethswritingopinions This is Christian fiction and I would love suggestions for others like it

  • Shortly after the beginning, the plot was very predictable, however it still held my interest Setting and characters are charming and the happy ending was a pleasure A nice pleasant, easy, read that isn t a romance novel.
