I had no idea what to expect from this book I thought it was one of those books where there is a damsel in distress who is saved by the PERFECT, SEXY boy I hate those types of books, but this one, wasn t like that It concentrated on some other aspect entirely Elves Evie has just moved in with her Grandma after her parents died in an accident She is heartbroken, depressed, and has only one friend, Anna But all that changes when she meets a handsome, mysterious boy, named Lucas, in the woods Now, [...]

This was a great series I enjoyed the fast paced plot, the writing style, and the characters, who were easily likable T.J Dell did a wonderful job with Whispers in the Woods These books moved really fast, and I m so glad I had them all at once so I didn t have to keep wondering what was going to happen next I love the cliffhangers at the end of each volume They really kept me hooked, and I was itching to turn the pages to see what the characters were up to So far, I m beginning to think the name [...]

The overall story was good and kept me interested in reading but there were parts I didn t love too First, it was a bit slow Sometimes the author dwelled a bit too much on a moment and it slowed down the story Second, so many of Evie s initial problems are self inflicted that she comes off in my book as a bit of a drama queen Third, and this may not be a popular opinion, but sometimes Lucas gushed a bit too much over Evie It kind of made her own sentiments seem cold by comparison and it made his [...]

I really liked Evie and Lucas I did feel that at some points she was older than 16 17 I guess going through a traumatic experience can do that to someone, but I didn t really feel like this girl was in high school Anyway, I loved the story Since these books are only available through and I don t have a kindle, I have had these on my to read shelf for over a year and finally got a chance to read them They went pretty fast, I read them all in a day I would totally recommend reading them all at th [...]

That s It I enjoyed the storyline of human elfkin bonding, but the story seemed to end abruptly after 3 volumes The characters seemed so richly crafted that I wanted to have access to the potentially unpacking of the Lucas and Evie adventures in The Veil I hope books are to come because the tale left me wanting These were the first books I read by TJ Dell I really came about them rather by coincidence That s it, I hope to read about the Faery realm.

So this was an interesting bookgly I was pretty into it even though it was not my normal style of read Evie and Lucas have a story that is not believable but definitely gets you interested in what happens next This was a three part book and I really am interested in the next

I am not a big fan of this type of supernatural but this was a good story Definitely kept things interesting Would love to see this story continue and see what happens with Conner staying in the human Realm.

When I started this book I was afriad it would only read for the young adult crowd That assumption did not last very long as I found myself engrossed with the characters and thier development The story drew me in and I loved the story.

Really great book about elves, I enjoyed it a lot, loved reading all 3 stories together
