  • I found this novel to be very Narnia esque with a scifi, as opposed to fantasy feel You could definitely see the influence of C.S Lewis on this book I really enjoyed enjoyed getting to know the children as they embarked on this adventure It was very apparent while reading this book that there it had a very strong Christian influence I would imagine that for some this would be a huge positive for some readers I could also see it as a not so positive thing for some other readers, so please keep it [...]

  • Four grieving children are whisked through a portal to an alien planet, where they make friends with several of the aliens and go on a pilgrimage down The Way of Nacor to try to find the relic that will take them home These seven travelers face seven trials all based off of the seven deadly sins although not called that on this planet.This is an interesting take on a Pilgrimage story and I enjoyed reading it, there were some good lessons learned and the characters progressed through their grief [...]
