  • Oooh, this one was really good It was better than the first in this series in my opinion , although you ll need to read the first book first, otherwise this won t make sense in places More weird fiction horror adventure in the style of a modern day Lovecraft My one complaint is that the school from the 1880s did not fit the description of a school from that time It seemed much like a late 20th century school, with its lockers and large auditorium and such Still, that s my only complaint, and I [...]

  • I m giving it three stars instead of two because I liked the general premise Other than that, the author seems to have the maturity level of a highly conservative high school freshman The main character, Eric, has a barely developed personality, beyond being smug and juvenile His wife is a complete twit, and there was no real development of other characters either, unless you count several uses of a Taser as personality The phone texting character was annoying in the last book, and reached barel [...]

  • Just as good, if not better than the first Such an amazing fantastic story with perfect characters, humor and danger Adventure, excitement and a slightly bended somewhat twisted version of supernatural oddities I couldn t imagine A wonderful next step in the fantasy, science fiction y thriller I ve come to know and loveSo different from the first, perfect for the next Job well done Can t wait for the next

  • Loved this one as much as the first Liked the new characters and loved the plot Can t wait for the next book in the series

  • Very intriguingThis book was very intriguing It is just as good as the first Brian Harmon is a great author I m ready to jump right into the third book of the series I can only imagine will keep me as intrigued as last to have

  • Creepy and EntertainingEric and Auden s story was was almost as good as the first book I thoroughly enjoyed the humor, the intensiveness, the creepiness, and the way it came together at the end I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves creepy stories.

  • A gripping storyI was pleasantly surprised to find that this story was as captivating as Book 1 I am ready for

  • I read this sequel right on the tail of the first Rushed book it was that strong a draw And again Harmon does not disappoint While continuing on with the characters from Rushed, this one still stands pretty well on it s own Although by the end, we are given information as to the big picture that Eric is now part of.For those who have not read the first book which would be a shame , there is enough recounting of the characters and situations from it to catch them up to speed However, having read [...]

  • Very interesting.Very interesting.I will admit that I am generous when I comes to eating books If a book leaves me thinking of it when I m doing tasks that pull me away from my reading, or cause me to be that person at the family barbeque that sitting on their kindle because they can t pry their eyes from the pages, I consider it a great one Rushed left me very satisfied I adore Eric and Karen s relationship as their jokes and banter remained me of my boyfriend and I As well how could anyone not [...]

  • Another great adventure storyNever in a million years would I have ever thought that I would read and enjoy a book of this type and now I m not only reading them but enjoying them immensely You could say I am totally hooked on this series of books I love the characters, the creatures and even the bad guys and to top it all off it is so believable, makes you stop and wonder if it is possible, these places and times If you re interested in reading something completely out of this world then you ne [...]

  • Rushed was an odd mix of humor and horror that I found mostly entertaining, but sometimes a bit annoying I ultimately finished the book, so I did not find it terrible enough to stop, but it was a strange tale One particular aspect of the tale I found annoying was he and his wife kept chatting in his cell phone through this entire bizarre journey What Who s battery lasts that long Her reaction seemed pretty tame in relation to what her husband was telling her what was happening This is a quick ea [...]

  • An excellent second read in this series where fantasy meets reality with a great deal of humour. This gifted writer brings the characters alive, so real that I could almost say I knew them as those folks who live down the street well maybe not the monsters and although the protagonist finds himself in surreal situations, even they are totally believable.Could there be places that are unseen until we really look Wow, what an idea.Yes, I am already reading number three and wonder again about the fi [...]

  • While I dont think this book was incredibly well written neither was the first one , it was easy to read and I had a hard time putting it down I finished it in a day I am currently reading another series, but I will probably start the next book in this series when I finish the book I am currently reading I enjoy that these are different than anything else I ve read They are out there enough to keep me interested, but I love how they get imagination going I feel like I can really picture what is [...]

  • Great book Great book If you re looking for creepy adventure mixed with the supernatural, this book is perfect It s hard to put down once you start reading It s like waiting to see what is hiding in the closet or under the bed There is some humor thrown in which is great since the storyline is so deep The ONLY thing I didn t like about this book is the misspelling of the word MANNEQUIN It s not manikin If you read this book, make sure you go back and read the first

  • I think I liked this better than the first book When Eric catches sight of Creek Bend, Wisconsin s most famous missing person, his mundane morning of running errands rapidly turns into a bizarre adventure filled with strange monsters, a murderous cowboy and a curiously intimidating man in a pink shirt as he searches for mysterious, hidden locations right in his own hometown The second book in the Rushed series. With help from Eric s brother and a friend called Isabelle, Eric gets around and where [...]

  • Another great readI m really enjoying this series Brian Harmon is an excellent writer and story teller I was an avid Stephen King fan for years, but haven t read him for a while because I got tired of the gratuitous use of bad language and sex While there is some use of bad language in Mr Harmon s books, it s few and far between, and there are no sex scenes It s refreshing to read a well written book that doesn t rely on cursing or sex to tell a story.

  • I read this because I had the desire to read when I finished rushed, but I was a little disappointed I felt like the books really had nothing in common You could read this without reading rushed first and you would be able to follow the story It still left you with the feeling of what happens next with the main character, so I just felt like the story wasn t finished for both the first book rushed and this one.

  • Love it I love the way this author rites, very real and extremely interesting, found the first book for free then after a while I couldn t help but spend the few bucks it cost to get the second Only took a few days to finish it, and that s with me restraining myself, lol awesome read and look forward to finishing the series

  • Just as addicting as the first bookAnother page turner in the Rushed series Brian Harmon is fast becoming my second favorite author I cannot stop following Eric Fortell on his adventures Looking forward to starting book 3 If you haven t read Rushed yet, what are you waiting for Start the series already

  • Very well written.I gave it top marks for character realism, potential for the impossible to have an air of possibility, and the continued ability, chapter after chapter, to continually draw me forward I enjoyed both books so far and applaud the author for creating works of fantasy in which I could imagine myself playing a part.

  • After the first book I was really excited to know there were books to read and promptly bought them all Out of the series of four, the first and the third are my favorites This one, however is very good Very, very good, even.I continue to enjoy Brian Harmon s ability to mix humor and horror If a book makes me freak out and then snort with laughter on the same page, then hey, I m happy

  • Not scary, but intriguing. This is the second I The series and I just happened upon them I have enjoyed the suspense without being frightened out of my good Ready for the next unseen adventure.

  • Awesome Awesome I loved it it kept my interest all the way to the end I hope there s Isabelle kinda repeated the same thing over and over I don t know, it feels different it was annoying but still loved her and the story

  • I absolutely loved the first book, but had the complete opposite reaction to this one It seemed a lot confusing and disjointed than the first one and I had a hard time following why things were happening.

  • Good.butWhat is the point in Isabelle in this book She gives no useful help at all Be carefulat was weird.t out of there etc etc tell us something we don t know Apart from her the book is excellent just bought the third

  • Another imaginative story Brian Harmon and his character, Eric the English teacher special supernatural traveler, take the reader on another adventure into the unknown Harmon s writing makes the unreal very real right up to the very end

  • Yet another interesting and original story dealing with that which is unseen but still seen if only by those with the ability to see The is a little depth and differences of personalities though there is still the sarcasm and many cell phone calls from the wife.

  • This book, like the first, was amazingly captivating I would literally pine for the book while at work With that said, I still don t know how I feel about the book Such a mind blowing read It is definitely worth reading.

  • AwesomeLoved loved loved this book, and this series Definitely going to tell my reading buddies about this writer My new favorite
