  • This book was unusual in that it deals with a husband nipping out to buy ice cream, then making the momentous decision not to bother going home Then we read the book from his eyes and his wife sHe annoyed me with his selfishness, yet you could feel how trapped he obviously felt.I empathise with her obvisouly, being a woman, but sometimes she annoyed me tooIt was a good read ideal for taking on holiday so you can read it undisturbed
