SSB Odisha TGT Age Limit
The age criteria for applicants are:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years as of January 1st, 2024.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/SEBC, Women, and Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- PwD (with 40% or more disability): 10 years
SSB TGT Vacancy – Selection Process
- The Staff Selection Board Odisha will conduct a Written Test to shortlist eligible candidates for various posts including TGT (Arts), TGT (PCM), TGT (CBZ), Hindi Teacher, Classical Teacher (Sanskrit), Urdu Teacher, and PET.
- In case of a tie during the final selection process, the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Examination will be considered.
- If a tie persists, the percentage of marks secured in the +2 / Higher Secondary level and Matriculation level will be sequentially considered to resolve it.
- If the tie persists further, the date of birth will be considered, and the candidate born earlier will be selected.
